What is a Team?


A team is a collection of users in the CGR system. The Team structure allows for a hierarchy where some users in the team are granted administrative abilities.  

Why is a Team Important? 


A team can access a specific workflow button and receive certain notifications. For example, if a particular team requires access to a workflow button, then this team can be added to the "Team restrictions" for that workflow transition.


How can I create one?

  1. Click Teams on the admin page left bar. This will take you to a list of available teams in the application.
  2. Click Add.

  1. Complete the form.
  • Choose a suitable title for this team.
  • Optional - A description of this team. Quite useful for others who may come across it.
  • Optional - Members - Add the members to the team.
  • Optional - Available Groups - Click inside the field and select the groups that this team will have access to.
  • Enabled - Leaving this yes will enable this team.
  • Add new users to this team - Choose yes if it is required to add all the new users to this team. (default No)
  • Create button active - Specifying 'Yes' will list the 'Quick Create' button on top for this team member.
  • Cloning - Leave yes if you want this team to be available for cloning
  • Custom Fields - Leave yes if you like this team to be available for scoping a clone template
  • Notifications - Leave yes if you like this team to be available for notification
  • Security - Leave yes if you like this team to be able to provide groups via team
  • Workflow - Leave yes if you like this team to be available for workflow transitions
  • Save
